Warranty

Under this limited warranty, your watch’s parts and workmanship are guaranteed for 24 months from the date of the reception. If you become aware of a defect in parts or workmanship during this time, LOUIS CARTEL EUROPE l.t.d. will, at its sole discretion, provide for the replacement of your watch in accordance with the terms herein. If your watch or any part original to your model is not available, a substitute of equal value may be provided for purposes of replacement. 

To obtain a replacement of your watch under this warranty, please contact our customer service department at support@louiscartel.com , we will provide additional instructions. If the watch was purchased in the LOUIS CARTEL EUROPE l.t.d online store.

The return of your watch and the shipping of the replacement will be arranged and paid by us. 

Water Tightness and Shock Resistance

This watch is protected against shocks when in normal use. However, it should not be subjected to extremely heavy shocks as will occur when it falls on to a hard ground, for instance. This can damage the watch movement.

The designation ‘3, 5 or 10 ATM Water Resistant’ means that this watch will survive brief immersion in water, like getting caught in the rain. However, the watch is not suitable for bathing, showering or diving. 

This limited warranty does not cover the following:

- Batteries, straps, bands, bracelets, glass, plating
- Damage of any kind if there is evidence that the damage was caused by accident, improper use or mishandling of any part of the watch or any accessories, handling that is inconsistent with the instructions or guidelines included with your watch, lack of proper care or improper maintenance, tampering, abuse, wear and tear, or any factor other than a defect in the watch’s parts or workmanship.
- Theft

- Damage resulting from repair, service, or alterations by anyone other than an authorized LOUIS CARTEL retailer or service provider is not covered under this warranty and shall void the warranty.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, ARE LIMITED TO 24 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.

LOUIS CARTEL EUROPE l.t.d IS NOT LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.
